Our KennelAchievementsBeaglesUpcoming LittersCoonhounds

As for the beagles; I have only been into them for a few years but like the black and tans I take them very serious.  My Mom and Dad got me Chase for a Christmas present and I've been hooked on the beagles ever since.

There are two styles of beagle (which we didn't know at the time).  Chase is what they call a hare hound which means he is faster but goes off line and over runs the checks some.  We also have cottontail dogs which are a slower hound but stays right on the track and picks up the checks quicker.  Both styles are more then capable of bringing the rabbit around and that is what is important at the end of the day.  There is no right or wrong, it's what each individual prefers.

Well I could go on forever about my hounds so I'm going to leave it with you for now.  But before I do there are some people I have to give thanks to:
To all our friends we have made over the years you're like family to us!

Special Thanks to

Mom and Dad for sacrificing your time and the miles we've travelled.

The Grift family for letting me have Smalltime Kennels
on your farm.  Your help when we go to the shows and caring for the dogs
 has been greatly appreciated.

Conner for the walks in the woods training pups and the brush piles you've
jumped for the beagles.

Jesse for all the miles walked as well.

This is probably the hardest part of the website; the part about me.  Well, not much to tell.  I'm forty something.  I live in a small town called Wyoming, Ontario, Canada.  Been here my whole life .  I have been hunting and showing since I was five years old.  I have had black and tans for years and I'm on my seventh Generation.  I breed for both show and hunt and take
great pride in my hounds.
